Great food and service
We stayed the weekend July 21st checked out July 23rd. Was checking to see if the couch made into a bed & upon pulling up the cushions I was mortified to see mouse/rat droppings along with the usual crumbs, etc. Kitchen floor was all torn up & one place felt like you would fall thru. Then we opened the fridge & all the side racks were broken,the pull out drawers broken. In the bedrooms the comforters had hair all over, I thought the sheets were clean but upon closer look, not so much. Bathroom vents caked with dust as well as the entire cabin, nightstands, behind the beds, window sills, under the beds never vacuumed. The outsides are so unkept that it should have been an indication as to what to expect on the inside. Get to the lakeside & could barely walk because of all the broken glass & trash & forget getting in the water with drop offs so bad. I don't care if you only pay 50.00 a night but definitely at 189.95 a night rat droppings are just sick. Now I was with my son & his family so it wasn't my place to take pictures & say anything to the office however my d n law took pictures. I would never ever pay that kind of money without saying something as me & my son & d n law work to hard for our money to put up with such. We made the best of it & learned a lesson. I don't know if either one of them said anything or not. Seems like with another marina so nice this place would take some initiative and clean the cabins up. Even if they are "just fishing cabins"that's no excuse for droppings & forgot to mention the roaches. OMG.Cabin 21
We had a very good an big cheese burger. Would go back next year.
