Stopped in last minute while on the way to Montgomery from upstate SC. Very friendly front desk and spacious rooms. I was pleasantly surprised with quality for the rate. Internet was fast.
Hidden gem! Without question this particular Econo Lodge is the best value of any motel in its category. Stayed in dedicated non smoking room, fresh and clean! Property isn't well advertised and found it by chance. Wish them all the best!
No housekeeping or anyone available to change linens or anything else at night.. Answer is I will let the manager know in the morning. So I am to keep changing rooms with my 3 year old all night until we find a room that was cleaned correctly. C'mon, you have to do better. This isnt right even for a less expensive place. People bring their children, the least you can do is wipe the urine off the entire toilet bowl and make sure that you actually change everything off the bed, not just the top sheets that are visible... When it the last time you lifted the cushion on the couch.. Crumbs and ants there too. Disgusting... So annoyed.
Absolutely nothing fancy, but a decent place to stay over night, or a few nights. Very basic!
One word ROACHES!! Lasted 5 mins in the room, ceiling was falling in above the bed. Ceiling above tub was dripping and pieces of it were all over the bathroom. Roaches had no care that I was even in the room. All the rooms can be railroaded (connected to both rooms next to them) with big gaps underneath the doors. Front desk pretended this was the first time as usual, ya know, like I'm the idiot thinking I'm gonna get a clean room for $70.
